Cameron Laird-Photographer

Just a quick FYI on Cameron Laird, photographer out in Townsville, Australia. He’s running a contest right now which I found through @Problogger on Twitter.

Yes, I’m posting this to tell you that he is a commercial and editorial photographer so hopefully I’ll win the camera he’s offering but also because his pictures are juicy, mouth watering and fulfilling. Sorry I got distracted by the Watermark Restaurant Album.

Here’s his blogger site and click on his name above or in the Link list to check out some of his work.

Off to go eat steak and eggs, sans the steak.

VIRESCENT

Meaning:

Green, or becoming green

Used in a sentence:

If a virescent frog can be lovable why not a talking mutant ant?

“Because Kermit the Frog is lovable…”

If you followed us over on blogger then you know how much we love taking random pictures.
I direct and my human executes.
It’s really a win-win. I take credit for the lovely shots and pass the blame on for the bad, bizarre or simply blase.
“Back to Flickr.”

“Must you, Eliza, truly?”
Must you doubt me, Human, truly?
“Well it’s your blog.”
Exactly.

Once there was an ant who grew up in a dump.
She never heard the phrase ‘I can’t’ and gladly took her lumps.
This ant’s name was Eliza Leigh and she was the prettiest insect you ever did see.

“Oh please, I feel nauseous.”
You think you can do better?

Today I went to the store, oh what a find.
On the shelf, killers of what I abhor, a joy to me.
I bought an armful or more, oh what a find.
Now slowly you’re writhing on the floor, a joy to see.
Soon you’ll die, a joy to me.

Now I feel nauseous . Can I go to the shoebox? Please!

Word of the Week: Sequacious
Eliza Leigh and Humanoid Translator | March 16, 2009 | 1:04 am

Sequacious

Lacking independence, servile.  I love that word too, servile.

Used in a sentence:

My humanoid is a sequacious female who bows to the whim of her Mutant Queen.

”My hallucinations are now having hallucinations.”
