My human hates watching the news.  So invariably I try to bombard her with current events as much as possible.  Here are a few things that popped out to me this week, some may not be new or headline but they are new to me.

Plus, some suggest it’ll make the $10 million mark so if you haven’t seen it yet go today. One more Ponyo post I found that was insightful and made me want to see it again.

Sweets:  All food is sweet to eL Bo Luc Lac: Translation, yum.   How I like my soup- cold. It’s been two months without pizza and I have to see this! Species:  Humans and other life forms Michael Jackson death ruled homicide and would’ve been 51 yesterday. Spike Lee event yesterday to remember him.  Ted Kennedy died after battling brain cancer. “Eliza, that is one strange combination of news.  Especially since there is very little news.  You should change the title to eL’s Links of Week or something.”

Don’t question genius.  Now get back to working on my memoir.  Where were we?  Then she became ruler over the world and made all humans her slave.

”Are you writing your own memoirs again?  It’s not supposed to be fantasy but factual.  Although, coming from you it’s all fiction anyways isn’t it?”

If you have the misfortune to read my tweets on twitter @opinionatedant then you’d realize that my human was desperately scrounging around looking for this miniseries. Having the movie on VHS did nothing but irate her since the only working VCR is naturally not hooked up.

As Acorn says, ‘If you get stabbed… save the knife for me, won’t ya?’

 Human, never ever leave on Whacked Out sports again.
”I thought you liked the VS Channel?”
Unless you’re on the show, I won’t watch.  It’s painful now, but that would be quite amusing.
“That is your life lesson?  So should I just delete the five you made me type out below?”

1. Read a book, watch a movie : Stretch your brain, or not.
2. Do not pretend to be Vin Disel, ever.
3. Don’t tell someone you’re dieting, unless you WANT them to monitor your caloric intake.
4. Try sleeping at least once a day.
5. Mix Linden tea into that little cranky toddler’s  sippie cup.

Here at Opinionated Ant, we love Hayao Miyazaki.  We are not the only ones who like to talk about the Japanese animator, filmmaker, creative extraordinaire.  Some people run niche sites completely dedicated to the man and his works.

“Eliza, was that a dig that your site is niche-less?  Because it is your blog, I’m just the translator!”
