Quote of the Week: The 10th Kingdom

Torture first, then you talk. It’s better that way. Rush a torture, ruin a torture. ~Burly

If you have the misfortune to read my tweets on twitter @opinionatedant then you’d realize that my human was desperately scrounging around looking for this miniseries. Having the movie on VHS did nothing but irate her since the only working VCR is naturally not hooked up.

“Elza is this monolouge the talk or the torture?”

As Acorn says, ‘If you get stabbed… save the knife for me, won’t ya?’

  2. It was a miniseries on tv way back in 2000! It’s a bunch of fractured fairy tales all rolled into one. It’s goofy and over the top so if you like absurd and fantasy you’ll like this. It’s also very long, unless you get your hands on the VHS version which is edited and some of the greatest parts are cut for time

The funny thing is it seems to replace Tylenol PM for many humans and a lot of Work At Home professionals put it on as background noise. I can feel a post All About it tingling in my fingers!

Right after The Princess Bride, naturally.
