    Hi,

    This is a really interesting picture. What is that on the wall that’s cracked away?

    My first impression is that it’s part of a coating on the wall but close to the top it looks as though it could be some sort of pollution but where has it come from, are the pipes eroding it……

    Hi! I just found out more about the building yesterday.

    It was an old tool factory and the front of the building is covered in a special foam to keep the lead or possibly asbestos in.

    I accidentally uploaded this shot- I have another that is a bit more crisp. I’ll look for it when I’m more awake!

    Here is a bigger picture of the wall. http://is.gd/7QLWD To the left the wall is open there used to be large hammers that stood there.
