If you don’t like how things are, change it!  You’re not a tree.

Mosquito circa 1940 in AlaskaIf you think you are too small to be effective, you have never been in bed with a mosquito.
~Betty Reese

Conversely, imagine the world taken over by mutant mosquitoes! Here is a series of photographs taken in the 1940’s giving humankind a dark glimpse into the grim possible future. Being eaten and ruled over by striped mosquitoes…

How you doin’?

She’s revamped this saying and I know my human pretends she’s got some killer locks, not to mention wearing really big heels whenever she says this.

Check out this weeks video of the week.  How you doin’?  Kid Style.

“Eliza, you know it’s you who says that, especially when in your Diva getup!”

So, how you doin’?

What in the fairying forest do you think you’re doing?

Do you know who said this?  Do you know how catchy this phrase is?

”Almost as catchy as, ‘I saw something nasty in the woodshed’.  Both cause strangers to look at you strangely.”

No, I think that’s the natural response you get from people.

Torture first, then you talk. It’s better that way. Rush a torture, ruin a torture. ~Burly

If you have the misfortune to read my tweets on twitter @opinionatedant then you’d realize that my human was desperately scrounging around looking for this miniseries. Having the movie on VHS did nothing but irate her since the only working VCR is naturally not hooked up.

“Elza is this monolouge the talk or the torture?”

As Acorn says, ‘If you get stabbed… save the knife for me, won’t ya?’

Do you mean that in order to save his own contemptible life… he dared to impress upon our credulous simplicity?!?- The Pirate King
